Become a Bilby Buddy for HOLLY BILBY
This special little bilby was given the name Holly as she was born just in time for Christmas in 2014.
Holly was given her name as she was born at Ipswich Nature Centre just in time for Christmas in 2014.Holly Bilby has developed very well and has been t rained and conditioned for handling at presentations, and is an important ambassador for her species.
Now that she is an adult, Holly is included in our captive breeding program and to date has had one joey named Flint. The father of Flint was a bilby named Manthey who was originally from the wild.
We hope that some of Holly’s offspring will be released into the wild of Currawinya National Park. You can visit Holly and her friends at Dreamworld Corroboree on the Gold Coast.
